The Sixth Annual Victor Metoyer Memorial Photo Contest
Victor Metoyer was a consummate artist and beloved member of the Bedford Boomers. In his honor the Boomers have established the Annual Victor Metoyer Memorial Photo Contest which is held in conjunction with the Bedford Boomers Annual Model Railroad Exhibition. Entry is open to all amateur photographers. All entries must be submitted no later than 4pm on Saturday of the Exhibition. Judging occurs late Saturday afternoon. All entries are expected to be on display to the public on Sunday during the Exhibition.
Once again in our ongoing effort to make the contest fair and fun for everyone the rules have been revised. PLEASE READ THE RULES CAREFULLY!

This is meant to be a friendly competition. Ribbons and nominal monetary prizes will be awarded in each category. (1st = $25, 2nd=$15, 3rd=$10)

2009 Contest Jurors
Leah Fox
Leah Fox is the Director of Public Programs for the Currier Museum of Art.
Leah Fox has worked for almost five years as the Director of Public Programs at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH. Prior to moving to New Hampshire, Leah worked in the field of museum education in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York, focusing primarily on making museums accessible to visitors with disabilities, and community outreach. This is Leah’s second year as a juror for the Victor Metoyer Memorial Photo Contest.
Martin Fox
Martin Fox teaches art history at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, and earned a master's degree in art history from Stanford University. He gives presentations on the history of photography through the New Hampshire Humanities Council. This was his second year as a juror for the Victor Metoyer Memorial Photo Contest.
Kim Roth
Kim Roth is a member of the Manchester Art Association Gallery Jury Committee and sits on the MAA Gallery Board of Directors.
Kim was born in New South Wales, Australia. He was educated in Sydney, attending the National Art School and Julian Ashton Art School. He moved to the United States in 1987, and has lived and worked in FL, MA and NH. Kim is an instructor at the Kimball-Jenkins School of Art, teaches classes at E. W. Poore and currently has a show at the Londonderry Library.
Henry Hupp
Henry Hupp is a member of the Bedford Boomers.
Henry has been an amateur photographer for over fifty years. In that time he has competed in many competitions and has been awarded medals and honor awards for his work. The Photographic Society of America (PSA) has awarded him four stars in Color Slide, two stars in B&W print and one star in Color Print categories for acceptances in international salons and has served as a judge in international salons. He has also been a semi-professional photographer with numerous photos published in national magazines, calendars and on AAA map and tour book covers.
